502 Slabside
This is the 502 Motorworks Slabside, built to the same specification of the original, it features lower wishbone suspension, upper transverse leaf spring, straightforward steel ladder frame chassis as used in the original, hand rolled aluminum alloy body and period correct drivetrain. Our 502 Slabside is built to the original specs for FIA approval. We offer both the LeMans and a street version.

Engine:
Date-coded, 289 cu. in. Ford motor
Quad Weber 48 IDA carburetor set up is standard.
Holley 715 CFM Le Mans carburetor set up is also available for street car use.
Drivetrain:
Suspension (fr/r) - Lower wishbones, upper transverse leaf spring,
telescopic shock absorbers
Steering - Rack-and-pinion
Brakes - Discs, all-round - Girling brake calipers
Gearbox - Borg Warner T-10 M 4 speed Manual
Drive - Rear wheel drive Salisbury 4HU rear end
Wheels:
MWS 15 inch wire wheels on Michelin XWX tires are standard.
Dunlop RS5 Racing tires additional cost.
Set of 5 Dunlop alloy wheels additional costs dependent on available stock.
Bodywork:
Tubular ladder chassis constructed with CDW tube, and powder coated black.
Aluminum alloy body fabricated by custom coach builder using 502 Motorwork’s own
bucks and jigs. Alloy hard top. Authentic Gauges, signals, lamps and wiring.
Windshields, tonneau cover and front oil cooler grills are included options.
FIA Homologation is an added option.
